I'm always reading something, usually multiple books at a time.
Having read the Walking Dead comics through volume 21 and watched the series on DVD (so I'm always one season behind--no spoilers, please), I already hated the Governor. When I first saw The Rise of the Governor in my library, I didn't feel that motivated to read it, because I HATE THAT GUY. But then the title showed up in the e-collection as an audiobook. And I saw it's part of a trilogy. So I thought, "why not?"
I still hate him, but I'm interested in seeing how the rise and fall play out. This first installment ended with a twist I wasn't anticipating. I won't go into details in order to avoid spoilers. If you are a completest and a fan of this universe, I'd definitely recommend checking out this non-graphic novel trilogy* (not that it is free of graphic violence, of course, but you know what I mean!).
Correction: The series is not a trilogy. There are five installments.
