I'm always reading something, usually multiple books at a time.
This was available for free as a Kindle eBook, and since I am impatiently waiting for my turn to check out Allegiant from the library (please no spoilers!), I decided to download and read it. I'm not really review-reviewing this, as it was just a short collection of asides such as "faction" manifestos and a faction quiz that I refused to even read because I am all too sick of "what faction are you" as a discussion topic.
There's just one thing I wanted to mention because it made me boggle a bit. Roth wrote that she's been asked repeatedly whether the "faction" names were words that she had "made up," and that she purposely chose "unfamiliar words." Hm. Maybe it's my PhD in English showing, or the fact that I'm not the "YA" target audience, but candor, amity, abnegation, dauntless, and erudite were all familiar words to me. Never saw that coming as any kind of a big deal.
